Hi.

I would like to add cruise control option to the Mini Countryman R60.

CAS does not want to accept any code, neither $540 nor $544. I was already surprised when I looked through about 10 of these models on Autotrader and decoded the VIN, none of these cars, despite having a multifunction steering wheel, had cruise control. Is it possible that the R60 did not have this option at all?

After replacing the steering wheel with a multifunctional one, coding went smoothly. By the way, I added an on-board computer. The buttons work, everything is ok.

You can EASILY look into R60AT.M00 file in SPDaten. You would immediately see, that it had neither of those options.

R60 always has cruise control paired with multifunctional steering wheel (249)
So all you need is install the correct parts, add 249 and code.

Great, thanks. I will check it tomorrow. I haven't driven this car yet after coding. What You write would explain the lack of code 240 or 244 in this model. What confused me was that when decoding the VIN from a regular Mini from the same year (R56 if I remember correctly), it had the code 244.

240 is leather steering wheel, has nothing to do with the buttons. 244 is manually adjusted steering column. I've never seen that on a Mini since it is always manually adjusted.
540/544 does not exist on R56 series, but it does on F56 since it can also have just the limiter.
I've retrofitted cruise control on hundreds of Mini's.

The cruise control obviously works without any problems. Generally, after replacing the steering wheel, everything works as it should.
