A friend parked the car and the next day the car has no contact.

I have diagnosed it with ISTA and voltage control to be able to connect to the car.

The error codes are:
00A3B2 Error message (terminal status, 0x130), KOMBI receiver, CAS transmitter
00A3BB Error message (door status, 0x2FC), KOMBI receiver, CAS transmitter
00C914 Message missing, JBE receiver, SZL transmitter
00C91E Message missing (terminal status, 0x130), JBE receiver, CAS transmitter

I have looked at JBE if it has water symptoms and all the fuses, everything is fine.

I have cloned the CAS with a scrap one, everything remains the same.

Could it be that JBE is damaged?

What are the inputs to the CAS? Are any of the terminals 15, 15WUP or R high while the key is off?
Does the CAS recognize the key? Have you tested the key, or a different key in the car?

CAS does recognize the key, it has been tested with 2 keys

In the diagnosis all modules are green (no faults) except JBE and COMBI

I will try terminals 15, 15WUP and R

If all modules are green, what exactly do you mean by "has no contact"?
I assumed you ment it didn't respond to the key.

Check obd pin1 - cas pin 13 when ignition on
If cas is not sending kl15 to obd port, icom can not see kl15

1 the CAS does recognize the key
2 the car has no contact, KL15=0V, OBD pin1=0V
3 I can do diagnosis because I use APP voltage control (see image)
4 CAS and SZL modules in green, without faults (see image)
5 MRS module in red because it is disconnected, otherwise also green
6 JBE and COMBI modules with errors, error code in post 1

So it does have 15WUP, otherwise many modules would be red.

Internally, 15_OBD (pin 13) is connected to some other KL15 outputs (7, 8, 14).
I would first check if you have power on pin 34 from fuse f36 with a testlight.
If that is ok, i would check if any of the terminal 15 outputs is shorted to GND by using a testlight to battery + (or by removing them from the CAS connector and check using ISTA if 15 voltage becomes high)

In the end, if nothing is connected to the KL15 outputs, the CAS should be able to make them high since 15WUP seems to be working.

Are you sure the keys are ok? I had a car die like this. No ignition but key was being sucked in at the slot. Got a cas and key from e90 and tested. Ignition back on.

The box where the key is inserted has been replaced.
Are the 2 keys going to fail?
