Hi I have car with water damage BDC control unit I had communication and many errors and first of all no start no kl15 and error kl15 short circuit to ground. Local dealer making problems when client want to buy new like 3 times increases the price changing delivery date.

My question is the possibility to buy used one and desolder all components with vin mileage and othe valuable data and sloder back form this one I see that no key comment is damaged only voltage regulators and capacitors are damage
Some know how to do it ?

when customer decided to buy new, for sure he look another dealer but for now i checking possibilities to "repair" this bdc

I also never heard of someone doing it, but if you find same HW and transfer all relevant chips, I don't see why it should not work.

costumer dont want to risk used bdc end solder chips, he buy new from dealer about 900eur.
After instal and flash bdcgw and code car still dont crank but have kl15
