Hi All,

Following an issue with a faulty hard drive on a NBT Unit, I proceeded with the replacement. However, I'm facing difficulties with the initialization process.

The SSH connection, established with FI, works good, as does the connection to the address 169.254.199.99. However, I am unable to connect to the address 169.254.199.119.

On the NBT EVO, the processors used are Jacinto (169.254.199.99) and OMAP (169.254.199.119). On non-EVO NBTs, the configuration seems different: Jacinto (169.254.199.??) and Intel, which corresponds to the address 169.254.199.99.

Having successfully connected to 169.254.199.99, I tried executing the command create_hdd.sh -c partition, which worked.
However, running the script create_hdd.sh -c format results in error messages.

I am therefore stuck and unable to proceed with the necessary script executions.

I'm using an NBT EVO tutorial, and I'm not sure if the procedure is exactly the same for NBT (connection address, script names, etc.)

Could I have missed something?

I suggest you are using my tutorial.

so procedure is exactly the same as for EVO, just for EVO you have to connect to OMAP .119, for NBT you connect to jacinto .99, as it doesn't have OMAP.

You are failing because of NBT non compatible HDD.
with EVO you can use lots of various HDDs, regular NBT is alot more picky.

So long story short, you are doing everything right, just need different HDD.

I actually used your tutorial, and I've done a few EVOs, and everything went perfectly.

I will ask my client to send me the exact specifications of the original HDD, and then I will go get one with exactly the same characteristics.

The one perfectly working in NBT is Toshiba MK2060GSC, these were originaly installed in NBTs and EVOs.
