BMW e38 - No Check engine light.
Hi guys, bought myself a project and realised the CEL light does not come up on ignition, ran the cluster test and no show on that also, took cluster out expecting to see LED taped over but no, its there unobstucted.
Find it hard to believe the LED is dead so wanted to ask you guys opinions. Thanks |

if you ran the cluster test and the MIL / Service Engine Soon lamp does not work, then you have a defective cluster.

LED i check using multimeter is ok, Makes no sense to me. ill try replace cluster maybe any other ideas?

For some software in DME, the led 'Check Engine Soon' does not active.
