Hey guys,

wondering why I cant use a NBTevo from a F54 and use it in a G30.
Flashed it for S15a but its not working. For all others F056/F020/F001 it
works like a charm but not S15a

Any ideas?

i suggest you are doing it on bench with ZGW, G series works on CAN4 and F series works on CAN2, your ZGW just doesn't have CAN4 that's why it does not work, if you code it properly and install HU in car it will work, BUT, your unit probably does not have second APIX port for kombi, so it will not be working properly in G series.

CAN4 or CAN2 same bus speed with same termination. You're referring to Service Pack 2009 vs 2015. Use 12F - {0xD9,0x50,0x8A,0xDD,0xF4,0x01,0x30,0x01}; and it works on ZGW connected to CAN2 bus.

OP: play with service pack and see what happens. About 2nd APIX for DKombi2, if car has, then you need another unit. It can be retrofitted on that, but cost wise better sell this one and get another.

The ports are the same - old HU and new HU...
only difference is the missing CD-Player and the housing is a little bit lowered.
I flashed it in car not bench.

But it is not working with S15A vehicle.... with all others it works
