I was just curious how does the feature installer work?
I saw that you need different codes for the functions.
And is there a reliable download link?

(I have worked with different tools for different vehicles, from E38 E46 to F10 or G30, but never used the feature installer only the HUTool)

Feature is rock solid in terms of reliability. HUTool has some extra functions but lacks reliability IMO, it killed a few units of mine, forcing me to repair them and then do all the work again. If you do basic stuff, carplay, maps, vim, screen mirroring, vo fix etc FeatureInstaller is pretty good.

feature installer is just a remote tool in which you enter the code you bought from the "dealer", or generated your self with HU Engineering tool, Feature installer is free, but code generator (HU Engineering tool) itself cost ~3,5k€ so if you're a small user it is more convenient for you to buy these codes from someone for small price.

It's working on My Win10 without any problems. Defender always perm off on My setup.

and the same result on all 3 PCs I have, all with latest WIN10 64bit.

That is a zip file - did you unpack it or did you try to open it out of the zip file?

You have on picture a ARM versions but for windows 64bit you need this FeatureInstaller_Windows64bit_v1.0.14.9.7
