Fact is, there's no guarantee their other solution work any better. Yet with genuine ICOM you will not look back.

UPDATE Yesterday I stayed with "factory engineer" on teams for about 3 hrs with dongle hooked to the car, and all they came up to was to install and uninstall their application, of course without solving the problem, constantly complaining about internet speed ( I have fiber 1 gb up and down),"please change internet " and so on. I do really believe they do not have a clue how to do it as for this moment. Then they stopped and went home....nice is it! Dongle is seen as ICOM and ENET, but ICOM firmware is blocked as in attachment. With ENET part of dongle you can do almost anything, but I will not trust to do any software update to the car Anyhow, I will continue to bother them just to see what is going on. That status means that ICOMs firmware version is too old/new compared to ICOM firmware package installed on you computer (or the one ISTA expects). So clearly VCX reports some different emulated firmware version... Do you have any ICOM firmware packages installed on your computer? Have you updated your VCX firmware to latest?

Hello, To the latest, many times, and no there is no other firmware for normal icom installed |

I've got the vcx se for about 3 years now. It already updated E91, E46, E60 without problem. The thing now with version 4.39 doesn't work, not sure if with 4.37 or 4
4.32 will work. I don't remember which was the last working version. With esys on f series works perfectly as I did some ecus flashing last week on an f20 |
