VIN changed and checksum corrected...

Nobody can write VIN with 18 characters, take the VO from LM and write to the CAS module.
Please explain us what for errors you have, during coding or some DTC?

I need to change the vin of the car in the cas2 module from wbanj71000B46853U to wbanj71000cr11645U, when I changed only the vin and put the cas2 into the car, the expert did not load the cas2 bullet, the vin error after editing the eeprom, now I can see the vin but it is wbanj71000cr116455

Stop doing what are you doing as you clearly dont understand differences between checksum in dump and checkdigit from ncs.

and as far as I know, if the checksum was 5, then I would have km on the combi module and the diag would not say that I have a faulty distributor

Your comment doesn't help to solve the problem, if you know how to solve the problem, post a solution!
In opening post he has ask for VIN change, after that he has change to VIN with checksum at the end.

Well the thing is that only correct dump (with checksum and short vin) posted is from user Cowboy, others are not.

NCS - the checkdigit for asked VIN is indeed "5" and NOT "U", but "U" checkdigit is for vin which is in his original(!) provided VIN dump (WBANJ71000B460853).
So i have no idea what is going on here in this topic.

NCS -  the checkdigit for asked VIN is indeed "5" and NOT "U", but "U" checkdigit is for vin which is in his original(!) provided VIN dump (WBANJ71000B460853).
So i have no idea what is going on here in this topic.

the file i posted was for long and short vin . and when compared it was same as atomantmk file so he must have done so also

the original vin of the car is WBANJ71000CR11645U.
sent the cas2 module and it was replaced with dde and keys for car fault WBANJ71000B460853U.
and now I need to return the original vin of the car

When will you understand what everyone is telling you? An 18-digit VIN does not exist and no VIN ever ends with a letter, only a number. See what is embossed on the bodywork or written in the documents. The 18th digit given by NCS should not be taken into account and will be different than in the dump.

your car's vin is WBANJ71000CR11645 NOT WBANJ71000CR11645U
checksum for WBANJ71000CR11645 is WBANJ71000CR116455
in ncs, when you're reading vo, read it from LM and use FA_WRITE job to write vo to CAS

yes, and when did you understand that wine has 17 digits, but the checksum is therefore 18 digits
