Newbie here - hope I can get some help

I have a 2011 Fiat Ducato 2.3 with Bosch EDC16C39 ECU that have a problem with the EGR. I want to delete it and have the P0403 DTC removed as well.

Bought a MPPS V21 chinese clone tool for the purpose, managed to read the ECU (I think), filesize is 2MB, used DaVinci to remove EGR and DTC but cannot write it back to the vehicle.

I am trying through OBD.

Is it possible to be done at all? Or I need another tool?

This ecu have 2 codeblocks for stage 1 obd read is enought, but for EGR off need full read ( ktag open cover, kt200,foxflash,pcm flash for bench read )
