Been pulling my hair out looking all over the web to determine where I'm going wrong.

I tried to follow a tutorial on replacing an hu_entry headunit in my vehicle with an hu_entrynav unit but cant get it to code properly.

Would someone be able to offer direction on how to do this the right way?

I initially tried upgrading isteps in the car with the original headunit and it couldn't complete, that HU continued to be stuck on the BMW logo and rebooted every few minutes.

Change shipment level to 07/14 or above remove 6vb 6vc etc from vo. Code headunit. If car has combox need to route mic and aux connection to the front on the headunit quadlock. Done it many times. Good luck
