The feature I look forward to the most is "remote coding with icom", both application dont have. Currently I am very satisfied to combine the two in my work, mainly I work with motorrad, Hope next update... with remote coding we use ENET cable, - esysx and BU both have support it. But with icom next, i dont see any solution best till now. Can you help me about it? I saw a Chinese technician using a Chinese app do this. My main job is working with all bmw motorrad products. so i really need it. |

Can you help me about it? You don't need any special program and could do everything manually Just lock an ICOM and then use netsh command in cmd to forward 50160 port Code: netsh int portproxy add v4tov4 listenport=50160 connectaddress=192.168.1.1 connectport=50160 |

RE: BimmerUtility vs Esys Launchers
You can do it that way but if you want to see the ICOM voltages in ISTA then you need more than that.
This thread isn't about that, I was merely saying that there is a solution coming with built in VPN that supports DCAN, ENET & ICOM (with ICOM voltages) |

RE: BimmerUtility vs Esys Launchers
After read out the whole car, i did the changes some time later.
After new connection to the car FDL coding is greyed out, although the changed files are in the main path. I have to read out again the car, thats not very comfortable.Delete the read , and copy the already changed files to the main path again. Is there any trick, in Esysx this work without problems and without read out again |

RE: BimmerUtility vs Esys Launchers
BU claims on it's website "TOKENLESS SOLUTION"
Do I get this correctly that new Esys 3.38/39 is not requiring tokens anymore. Now the whole struggle is with getting correct mapping on CAF files with newest iLevels ? |
