You don’t need to use genuine, i’ve Been using a Chinese A2 clone with a Chinese cable for over a year now

A2 Clone is OK. Hardwired ICOM-D (without electronics) is OK for diagnosis, but for programming I personally would not risk it.

As far as I know,  need ICOM-D withelectronics! Join to 14TLC!

Without this, you can not use ISTA-P and + for programming!
am work ISTA+ with 4.04.,... (03/2017) Versions and do it some level software upgrade , & reprograming + coding
