Im trying this as well. Trying to read F25 kombi with 160D0WQ chip with test clip, no go. I have been told that this chip i need to desolder before it can be read. So im going to try that next week.
The test clip works fin on the M35080VP chip. But not on the 160. |

So im going to try that next week. r 270 not good for solution ,overwrites cell eeprom. the chip can not be changed, there is a point of it is tied to the CPU ID. Best regards Eddy |

I have had this issue with my R270. I Reinstalled the software on a different laptop tried it on windows 7 and XP no more issue hope that helps
