Dme only firing on one cylinder
Hello guys,
i have a bmw e36 318 M40, i got the car without dme on it so i bought a red rebel dme 0 262 200 520, but when i try to start the car it is only firing on cylinder number 1. spark and fuel injection. i have checked almost all wiring but they seem ok now i think the dme is dead. am thinking of maybe trying to change the transistors responsible for spark and fuel but i dont know which are they, can some one please point me to the right direction....thank you |

RE: Dme only firing on one cylinder
Check timing, cam sensor, crank sensor, Wiring, EWS
Check Main Ignition Coil Check ground(s) on injectors, if you Have Power Probe 4 easy Check attached picture, look for those components on ANY ECU/DME/ME cars Also sometimes when car senses that if it's off timing, if injector, if coil is not working it shuts-down per-cylinders (can be easily checked/search on v12) Check OS/2 sensors, based off OS/2 sensors readings DME/ECU determinants to open/close injectors, when and how much base or out-put/raw fuel If any of my posts or current one helps then don't forget to press thanks and add a reputation
