Oh my God what a load of crap I have heard here.

First of all new ICOM Next(Silver-Gray one) isn't compatible with old headunits.
Take ICOM A2 or A1 and program the car with that,everything will be alright.
If CHAMP still refuses to program,you will have to take WINKFP and program addresses 62,63 and A0.
62 programs with Diagbus,63 and A0 program with MOST_ASYNC.
Order of programming is same as CIC.

63->62->A0.

BMW only knows to replace parts when they fuck something up and they make you pay it from your pocket.
