ICOM P consult
Icom P is the manufacturer's production line modification programming equipment, I opened it and had a look, the workmanship is very good, I want to transform it into an independent ISTA version that can be used, I hope you can help me and give me some useful tips!

You should change ediabas.ini for icom P :
INTERFACE = RPLUS:ICOM_P

and use Rplus.ini with :
[ICOM_P]
REMOTEHOST = 194.194.194.43
Port = 6801
;Timeout wird bei erstem Verbindungsaufbau verwendet
TimeoutConnect = 5000
;Timeout wird ...
TimeoutReceive = 5000
;Timeout wird ...TF = TF + TR
TimeoutFunction = 5000
DisconnectOnApiEnd = 1

Inpa Ista Ncs and winkfpt work perfect

is there a part number for the icom-p, and how does it compare to the other available icom?

You can use Icom-P for diagnostic,flashing and coding all BMW by D-CAN
K-Line is not suuported
Icom -P not need use Icom radar all settings are over ediabas
