sorry but still the same and i notice that ISTA show 00 working hours coded the DME
but same fault
will try to show some pictures while try to flashing the DME
I don't understand what you are trying to achieve. according to what esys shows, you want to install mevd1724 instead of mevd172p

trying to fix that fault

Run tool32 > MEVD1724 > STATUS_LESEN > ARG;IZBST
If response is not 0 you will not be able to fix this issue, sometimes hours info are stored in more than one position

i read DME working hours with ista after write the reset files and it's 00
i will test your way no problem
and i have MEVD172P epprom file too will test it also

hi again nothing work with that DME still have no power with same faults so I decided to change the dme with used DME with part number listed in the Part catalog for the car vin
here is MEVD172P (N20) file will need working hours reset please
