RE: What is HU_NBT2 FSC code
I also tried the Evo with voltage regulator to 8.2V and a CID from F15 NBT, I tried several things, but always "No Signal".
Is there anything more to switch than to APIX_1? |

Hi, Yes, APIX1 must be set to get anything other than "No Signal". I just attempted this today and with the KEMO regulator mentioned earlier, I had to increase the voltage to closer to 8.6V-10V to get any kind of solid signal on the screen. This actually meant having to start the car to keep it from flickering. I ran the power off of the NBT power wires (the 2 on the side of the video cable) into the regulator, then back out of the regulator to the monitor. With the car in key position 2, it would flicker a lot when set to anything less than about 8.5V and it was difficult to get much higher than that. Once I started the engine, that same setting jumped to around 10V and the screen was very solid. Setting it to any higher than about 10.4V and the screen shut off. I'm wondering if maybe it's a current issue on the power wires coming from the NBT video connector, I can try running the regulator off of an accessory power wire and see if it works better. This would mean that the monitor would power on as soon as the key is turned to ACC or position 2, which is similar to how it is running off the NBT anyways. Going back to what this thread started out as, does anyone know how to load FSC codes on the EVO using Esys without getting the error of the date being invalid or whatever. I have EVOs that don't have any FSC codes stored, but I can't get them to take any either and the method I used in Tool32 for the regular NBTs doesn't seem to work on the EVOs. |

Hi, thank you for all these explanations, however it did not work for me, I do not know what to do. Retrofit E90 LCI E series, NBT EVO 2.3 with a screen of NBT 1. The NBT EVO is fully functional in a F Series with a NBT EVO screen, it is in ID5 with CarPlay. When I put it in my E90 with a NBT 1 screen with a regulator, this does not work. The screen does not even display, no signal. I specify that I code well in apix 1 when I place it in my E90 Thank you for everything. |

RE: What is HU_NBT2 FSC code
Great, thank you, in the meantime I solved the problem, it had to reverse the pin polarity at the HSD connector output NBT, I do not understand why.
I now have no signal that appears, I have to stop because taken by time, I continue tomorrow. Thanks for the coding lines, they will surely serve me. Sorry for my English, I use google translation |

RE: What is HU_NBT2 FSC code
Dear Experts,
I have retrofit a HU Evo from G11 in my F20 from 2014 but the Monitor is still a L7 8.8" with Apix1. I installed the Kemo regulator and the voltage is constant of 8.2V and the coding was performed but i see allways "no signal". If I delete the cafd of a 255.2555.... file, is see nothing but the backlight is on. That's why i think my coding is incorrect. Please Check my 2 CAFD File and the values or give me one of yours for testing. I am despairing. Thank you very much. |
