RE: BMW diagnosis Software
Hi..m8.. your Bmw-scaner 3 in 1 is not perfect, but good tool for acessing eeprom/flash dumps from diferent modules and also diagnostic..It work fine on older E-series..for K-dcan interface you can use Inpa 5.06 and also Ista d/p with bimerboy88's icom emulator(loader)like snypertje say for diagnostic is best to use Ista-d..standalone version..all that you have on forum..
good luck |

RE: BMW diagnosis Software
ISTA-D is what the BMW Dealer network uses now so it gives you the exact same diagnostic capability as a Main Dealer.
INPA used to be used by BMW a long time ago (1990's maybe). It is fast to boot up and does a fair bit but it's basic and doesn't properly support a lot of cars now. BMW Scanner is written for independent garages and is not produced by BMW themselves. It won't do everything ISTA-D does but I have seen it do some quick and dirty setting changes that the Main Dealer software wouldn't allow you to do. |
