No GPS Tracking after NBT replacement
Hello
a NBT head unit in a F11 7/2014 stopped working after HDD failed and I replaced the unit with a used one from ebay. The used unit was virginized and factory certificates transfered to the new unit with the car's original VIN. NBT was VO coded without modifications and everything works (ConnectedDrive AppStore, RTTI, Weather, etc.) except for GPS Tracking. I successfully paired the F11 with my iPhone through the BMW ConnectedDrive app and can see information about the vehicle but only when it is connected to the phone via USB cable. The app cannot find the F11 on the map and there is no "GPS Tracking" menu available under Settings in iDrive. I updated BMW Services and did the USB update. Nothing changed. This all worked before with the previous NBT unit. Is this an issue with the Server in Germany since NBT now has a different serial number? Do I need to check something in FDL coding? thanks The replacement head unit was built on 46 week of 2014. So 11 month of 2014. |

RE: No GPS Tracking after NBT replacement
Ah yes. That I have tried. The only thing o haven’t tried is to change the serial number to match the original unit. But I don’t know if that would matter seeing as the other used unit worked fineness.
