As you know mate the softwares for clone is using its own hardwares flashed.
You cannot use a software for a clone with other clone
All this combination will damage your tool
The chinese clones are upgradable and using its moded softwares

Just make a batch file that changes the time and disconnects the Wifi before opening VCDS

This is what I use.

Open notepad and pasted the following in.

@echo off
netsh wlan disconnect
date 01/08/2013
C:\Ross-Tech\VCDS\VCDS.exe

Then Save > name it > VCDS.bat > save to Desktop and use it to open VCDS.

Tip: always check it has disconnected the Wifi when your out of range or your router the first time you try it, this is because Windows has to be managing the Wifi connection and not some 3rd party utility.

Mate the ross-tech servers check the license when you do not use the VCDS software but your internet connection is on too
You have to prevent the ross-tech servers check
Changing time has nothing to do with the released versions, only with beta versions because this one has "time bomb" ( time limit ) but it has with the message that show up when you start the software ( the one with Version expired )
The serial in the chinese vcds 12.12. it is allready blacklisted for a long
