Hi

I'm trying to disable error codes related to OPF/GPF (particle filter) in M5 F90. Since early models weren't equipped with that, is it possible to modify FA and flash DME through E-Sys with software without OPF/GPF or something like that? Or is the only possible solution with Tuning Software?

Maybe try replace 1DE(EU6 RDE) to 164(EU6) in FA, then calculate svt, and reflash DME?

I suspect this parameter is the type that would lock after 10 operating hours on the DME. Tuning would likely be required, or reset operating hours and flash/recode.

It is possibile to modify FA, but the DME may not accept the file. I think for sure it would be necessary to modify the production date (zeitkriterium) to a date before the GPF was introduced. And also, as already said by cursor, replace 1DE with 164 in FA. At that point with such a modified FA you could try to flash the DME.
