I see you have no idea what you are talking about. OF COURSE OABR is connected in ALL cars which have these units from factory!!! And then ZGM (or another gateway unit) forwards ethernet packets to/from the respective unit within a car. And there ARE OTHER units (at least on highly equipped cars) which are also connected to ethernet the same way within a car.

You DO NOT NEED to do any wire mangling on such cars to flash them over ethernet!

I Was confused because friend said to me before that"doesnt matter OABR Have or not". Thats why i wanted to ask it in here.
