BMW F40 high-low adapter
Hello,
I would like to install an external subwoofer with power amplifier (high-low adapter) in my 2022 BMW F40. Can anyone send me the pin assignment? A Harman cardboard sound system is installed. |

RE: BMW F40 high-low adapter
if you have Harmon Kardon Amplifier installed from factory , you don't need High to Low convertor , the factory amp has already low output for the front right and left subs .
Amp output pins : subwoofer front left : Pin 4 + ( Yellow Wire ) Pin 3 - ( Black / Green wire ) subwoofer front right : Pin 23 + ( White / Black wire ) Pin 22 - ( Blue / Black wire ) |

But I need to have a chinch output from the adapter to connect my external amplifier
Can I connect the adapter to the pins you have mentioned? Do you also know which pins are for the front doors? |

But now I'm a bit confused, are you adding an external amp for the external subwoofer or you are adding a complete third рдятy amp - speakers and sub ? |

RE: BMW F40 high-low adapter
the wire which are going from harman amplifier to subwoofer are real clear and can be bridge to the hi lo adapter. and from hi lo adapter the chinch comes out and can go in your seperately ampülifier for the subwoofer

RE: BMW F40 high-low adapter
I'm reading these posts and cant believe what sh*t you guys writing to this member..
@emhtuning since when harman amp has LOW outputs to external amp? Its HIGH signal, now LOW! And yes he need HI-low adapter, couse harman/bowers voltage is too high for regular external amp, and in time line in burns. @budddyyy real clear? cmon.. its already with EQ signal. Measure it. if u want real/clear signal u must use aftermarket MOST pre amp acording to this vehicle. Stop writing bullshit just for posts quantity. talking now about main thing, i suggest you to use hi-low adapter which can keep realy high signal without issues. LINK |
