Hi all,

I am ordering parts for hud retrofit for my BMW F10 2015.
So far I have purchased:
- 6WB kombi 6210 9 363 263-01
- HUD 6815500

I am planning to order
- hsd repair lead 61119294364 to connect hud with kombi
- sound insulation frame 62309204859
- windshield for which there is discussion here: https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=58217

Assuming above are correct and complete except mounting screws.
Now question- what are the screws part numbers as some people are suggesting nuts are also required which keeps me confused. 
This retrofit requires dashboard removal so I want to be sure I am well prepared as I don’t want to do that twice. 

Bummercat is suggesting part number 07147127027 for 3 screws needed. 
But it is not mentioning nuts. 
As far as I know I would need to drill?
Also is there anything else I am missing?

Can anybody who did hud retrofit can confirm what screws are needed?
I have limited trust to realoem/bimmercat and others as I have ordered screws which didn’t fit already in past.

That is correct. However my immediate problem are screws and mounting the hud. 
Windscreen is planned later.

I did this retrofit and can say that new windscreen is not needed.
It might be a very little bit less clear then after changing windscreen, but in my opinion a waste of money.
When you get a chip in your windscreen and need to change anyway, then change to the one for HUD...

No nuts needed, they are already there welded to the metal frame under dashboard. Dont remember if it was M6 or M8 bolts but i ordered the p/N from realoem and they where right 07147127027. You will also need the frame for the dashboard 51459209798 and 5 of the clips 51167151389

Hi,
Yes that ones also neded, its like a foam thing that fills the gap between dashboard and HUD.
Also just realise you prpbably in the UK, and the the P/N of the frame is different from the one i mentioned that is for a LHD car.
Best of luck, its a day of work taking dash out, cut it and bring it back in.
I used instructions in rheingold and only thing i made different was that its possible to leave the centre consoli in, you only need to take the fastening bolts out and move it slightly backwards. Saves some work not to take it out all together.
