F15 N47 engine, start at idle and engine stop when press pedal
F15 N47 engine, start at idle and engine stop when press pedal for about 10 mins then start again at idle
checked with ista with no fault codes , there is diesel smoke come from the intake pipes i removed the exhaust without any changes check fuel pressure seems all fine removed the intake throttle to make engine breath but no changes any idea ?!? thanks in advance |

Check EGR Valve. Under cover You see mechanism. It could block in fully open position

RE: F15 N47 engine, start at idle and engine stop when press pedal
So we ask ourselves, what happens when you press pedal? Pedal position sensor reads pedal position, dde injects more fuel to match fuel demand by increasing injector duel, airmass reads how much air is being taken in and advised dme to adjust to match. Same time vanos e.t.c adjust cams for more torque.
Your problem seems to be here..Pedal position sensor reads pedal position, dme injects more fuel to match fuel demand by increasing injector duel. what if it injected too much, or too little. Engine may go off Check whether pedal position is reading correctly, then check rail pressure is sustained when car goes off, check whether airmass sensor reads correct airmass. Disconnect high pressure sensor and see if it does the same. then we move from there. You say "there is diesel smoke come from the intake pipes", would that suggest timing could have slipped? |

What was the cause of the damage?
