F32 partial flooded no ignition
Hi today i watching f32 2013 from usa during the transport car had smash rear window and of course it flooded with rain water. Damaged rear side of the car accident, and water. destroyed: rear fuse box, telematic, hifi amp, asd module all disconnected and clean connectors
Some electric guy change rear fuse box "checking everything" and collected a lot of money and car wont start and dont have ignition. Owner dont want that guy to work on his car anymore costumer state: new battery, used rear fuse box, fem, cluster, dme and key was shipped to some man who reportedly checked and synchronized everything and says that is ok i had communication only with ZGW and FEM rest module are red in ista tree and communication take forever on cluster i got info to put key in steering column but this dont work no KL15 no crank park lights working, interior lights working, but no reaction to key fob i think about remote receiver on rear shelf but ist only to unlock car not for the ignition i dont have much time today to check everything but i got all fuses ok front rear on rem and fem also i had oscilloscope but i dont now how to check key and fem communication maybe You had smoe clue what to do? |

If the key is registered to the fem then it should work when holding it at the side of the steering column.
If only the FEM and ZGW are responding then check first with the FEM since its the gateway for other modules to communicate. Are any files missing from the FEM or ZGW? Wiring from FEM ok? |

Wires and connectors looks ok on fem side. Water is on the left side under driver carpet and rear floor both sides now client is waiting to insurance guy come and see damages because they want to sue carrier for not covering car properly.
I dont connect esys for now just quick check to decide whether to repair in tuesday i have more time. Car is on costumer house not in my shop yet so i dont have full time access to it for now So You think the key is wrong or not correctly pair with fem? |

RE: F32 partial flooded no ignition
You should not have to repair this car. The customer should wait for the transportation company insurance and they will take care for the repair or total lost the car.

RE: F32 partial flooded no ignition
It's not that simple carrier is denie everything and won't take responsibility, private expert who will estimate the damage want to take back communication to see witch ECU was damaged dealer say don't won't flooded car, and car is seating for 2 months a blocking private garage and owner of garage what to get rid of this car really fup situation and previous electric cheated the client extending the repair time by basically doing nothing I need to show errors to expert I even suspect that electric changed the remote or sabotages otherwise because owner of car had only 19 years and this is his first car from USA. On Wednesday I had plan to take fem and key to key-master to check are they paired properly.
