Hi all, have a 2012 F10 that had an id4 flashed to id6 installed using emulators. I removed emulators and wired everything properly, coded to car.

Problem i have is with mic. I have the driver side mic connected to pin 17 and 22, i did this before with no issues but in this car its a problem. 

MIC works fine in carplay when making calls, siri hardly ever understands me though and BMW voice assistant / memos dont record sound at all.

can you try sitting in the passenger side and speak. IF it recognised then just have to swap btwn Mic 1 and mic 2 wirings.

did you have Combox before?? have you bypass MOST from Combox, remove all plug, then re-wiring Mic direct from Headunit to Microphone unit.. if you have combox, mic was routed to Combox then to Headunit..

i have done this on my 2012 328i F30, retrofit ID6, remove all plug from combox, re-wiring both microphone directly to headunit.. it working fine till now..

Hi guys,

i want to upgrade my vehicle to ID6 to get CarPlay but don't wanna miss the OEM features like Nav & the remotes services.
My vehicle has a NTBEvo_E (checked in Nav system informations, HB 140 and HW 2.3) and the GPS connector is not used.

Do I already have ATM? Or is it still TCB? Is it possible to check if ATM or TCB is used?
Do I just have to buy an used HU ID6 and everything will work Plug&Play, except the issue with AXIP1?
