My 5054a memory

Hi, I have a 5054a clone and looking at the memory the end of the memory chip numbers are different but both end in 10, one is UI10 and the other looks like TC10 does this mean they are the Better memory chips?

What is the rest of the memory part number?

If it is the same like mine here is a not so great picture.

Have not tried yet. I will flash tomorrow my transmission (should take 10-15 mins) and or radio (1 hr). with VCP. If it fails with VCP (e.g. radio) then I will test its vas5054a flashing capability. MY Battery charger arrived today so I am very excited.

To be honest I think 3 V (K6R4016V1D = our memory) charged with 5V means overclocking memory frequency . Heatsink should help to sustain that frequency otherwise I think it will get unstable (overheating). Not sure if heatsink is sufficient.

I ordered 1 oki chip, 2 resistors which were missing, and 4 memory chips K6R4016C1D-10. Then I will need the proper equipment to upgrade it. (I also ordered heatsinks for the memory modules in case I do not perform the upgrade, but do not know if they fit in the case).

Hi,my Oki is fake with the pin cut and also missing the A5780A chip, are you changing or fitting A5780a chip where are you getting it from? Does it matter that the memory chips have a different end number?

why are you so eager to flash everything in your car?
new is not always better, and i'm talking with experience

Because if I dont test it I will never know. I test for the pleasure. Sort of first adopter or initiator in firmware updates and sometimes in hardware upgrades/retrofits on an amateur level.

Buy one used ecu edc15 or can gateway and test on bench mate and then test on real car. will cost u less and u can use those also in future to test some more tools

1. Radio concert firmware 0350 was a failure.
2. Transmission firmware update was a success. Fixes the quality issue of gear shifting from 2 to 1, confirmed.

I need to reinstall windows 7 because it refuses to open most diagnostic programs (timestamp ntdll.dll issues or programs refusing to open). I will not be active for a few days until I get this sorted out. I had to flash with windows 8.1 x64, my second OS.
