Try it with real com port. For programming you shoud use the native port.

Hi, for my part and for my ISP MB9X programmer, i use a USB/RS232 converter and no souci for reload microprocessor MB90F546GS !

Can try with an PCMCIA RS 232. Work to me. I don't know how work with Express.. I think is working with an USB/RS232 converter but HQ one, must have all needed pins working - Rx, Tx, DTR, DSR, RTS, CTS.

RI no needed... and pin 1 DCD no needed..

I also built the Fujitsu Programmer from this nice thread which works well for me with Fujitsu Flashkit 2.9 on an old WinXP PC. The Winbond Flash chip I could flash with a cheap Chinese CH341A programmer which also seemed to work well. The only small problem I have after this procedure: Scarys Interface-Checker does not longer show a serial, just "inconnue". Diagbox 7.4 says that the interface isn't connected.

Any thoughts what I am doing wrong? For my understanding it's a problem with the Winbond flash chip?

The interface gets detected well in device manager.

Problem is programmator, not flashing well because not have serial number. I had same problems with own builded programmators, then buyed original, and never problem for programmator work.

I found my mistake (ok, not really my mistake). I had written a wrong file to the W25Q80. I found the files and manual for the programmer at the ecutuning.it website first. And there the author of the thread mistakenly posted a "appli_4_3_0.com" download for flashing to the W25Q80 and that's the wrong file. Now I discovered that this thread is the original source for the files in the Italian forum and the files posted by titoun here are the right ones! Now Diagbox 7.4 is running fine under Win 7 *very happy*.

Thanks to all involved into the difficult work for making the files & manuals available.

I made a ISP programer, use HIN202E instead of AMD232, 74AHC244 instead of 74AC245. flash MB90F546GS successful.
But no show (Multi-Instance) in Device manager.
