Hi

I have just replaced a Kafas module with a used unit, this obviously has existing FSCs from the donor.

I have changed VIN in the module and the donor FSCs are now rejected.

I have FSC repair kit for the correct VIN but when I try to write the FSC, I get the error Invalid FSC creation date.

I am using Esys and have Base64 decoded the FSC and have tried Write FSC, Update and Upgrade but all fail with the error.

What am I missing here ?

The creation date of the fsc of your repair kit is older than the on of the donor vin. That is what happening here.

Ok so I need to delete the donor FSCs with ISTA/P then load the ones from the repair kit ?

Seems for now - no way (by obd) for virginise KAFAS.

Ok so I need to delete the donor FSCs with ISTA/P then load the ones from the repair kit ?

If F series you should Use ISTA +
If E series you should Use Ista P

Where in ISTA+ can I delete,
I can find it in ISTA/P but not ISTA+

Ok apparently there is no known way to delete the donor FSCs so a new virgin module is the only way - bummer sad

Or buy used KAFAS older than your original one in which case you can use your original FSC Codes in it...

Afaik they can't be removed.
You have 3 options:
1) what shawnsheridan said
2) buy an emulator for kafas
3) buy a new kafas

1. change VIN in the module back to the donor VIN.
2. check all fsc.
