The odd thing is, flashing my backup coding file with esys didn't fix it. I'm assuming the CAS frequency is set with coding. The thing that actually fixed it was programming the module with the exact same SWFL that was on it. My .NCD file with the issue was identical to my backup.
When I ran the key test, ISTA showed the correct 315Mhz signal being received by the car. |

I have a new theory.
I used ICOM NEXT, but connected through APIPA rather than DHCP through router. I figured that would be fine since no Ethernet modules were being flashed. However, the personalization settings are backed up and restored to the CIC. Perhaps I just need to use DHCP for all things. I used a 100 foot Ethernet from my house router to the car for the i-step update. I guess I'll just have to setup my mikrotik mini for the task |
