Do you guys have no security concerns regarding the root certificate which has to be installed o your client?

The certificate is for "who the code came from", not for "what the code can do". This means that, if the digital signature is valid, meaning not tampered, the certificate will say so. Without trusting it, the validation result is meaningless.

Having it installed doesn't automatically give the app extra privilege. In fact, I highly advocate not running it in elevated/admin mode. It's not needed for a simple app like this. It's only used for Windows Authenticode.

That being said, you have the right attitude in questioning it. Feel free to run Fiddler to observe the traffic. You'd be almost disappointed to learn that there's almost no information being transfered after validation.

I would be if TokenMaster was a fly-by-night developer that just opened up last week. However, TM literally has people tripping hand over fist to give him money for  software he doesn't have time to fully maintain or earn the highest amount of revenue possible with excellent customer service. It seem unlikely he'd have time to build backdoors into software and profit through nefarious means. Also, TM strikes me as an ethical lad given the years he's turned 2.8 Pro free due to backlog and family constraints... That said, if someone familiar launcher code decides to build something and piggyback on Launcher all bets are off

I don't know why you didn't write automatic license generation for donate people. Your software is very helpful & alot of guys want to donate you to get full software but can't contact with you. No way, they try to find "bypass" solution, i'm too. very strange & not interesting for that.
