Retrofit question: E90 climate control in E60?
I personally dislike the 3 knob climate control setup in the e60. I miss having a separate LCD readout for the temperature and fan setting.
Has anyone ever explored the possibility of swapping an e90 climate control unit into a E60? Obviously, the trim cover would need to be custom fabricated but would it be possible to make it work by swapping wires to mate up to the e90 connector pin out and have it successfully coded to be functional? |
