In that case rename softing 1.20.42 folder in program files x86 and use the updated one in it's place

It works now cheers
Also you suggested to replace the resistor. What does it affect?
On fantomel rework I also see capacitors between ram.Should I add theese too?
Can I use odis-e with it?

RE: Good or Bad Vas5054A
Yes you can use odis-e 8.1.3 with this updated softing.

It is better to add the 2 missing capacitors. I believe they safeguard  memory and it's data. Also 1 resistor 122 missing.

Dont know which job they perform though I believe last one holds true in order to safeguard memory from corrupted data/voltage spikes/voltage lows.
Capacitors are widely used in electronic circuits for blocking direct current while allowing alternating current to pass. In analog filter networks, they smooth the output of power supplies. In resonant circuits they tune radios to particular frequencies. In electric power transmission systems they stabilize voltage and power flow.

I bought the following.

100nF 16V X5R   -25'C to 85'C ±10% TDK

NOTE rule:
overrate working voltage by 2x. So for 5V modules capacitor choice is 10V. I only found 16V .

You had lucky original, one of the few later revisions of vas5054a, since ram is cypress.

As it is the later revisions of the original that why I have on board the later type Philips ISP1181ABS USB controller, when I see that and I see all the clones have that, I though it was a clone

yes
