You must flash 6WA by using your FA, add 6WA, no need to change date to remove red dot.
I successful retrofitted 6WA on my F30 7/2012.  |

There is second eeprom 95320 with the vin. R270 won't read 95320

turbodriver you are right there are 2 eeprom one 95320 and 160d0wq
i think i must only in the 160.... delete the vin and that i have done but still the dot is there kombi was coding and flashing today but still is there . after that i read again the eeprom and my car vin is inside |

I'm pretty sure there's 1 lon and 3 short vins and another 2 in 95320. All of them to FF

today i test it again...
delete all with "FF" (1 long vin & 1 short vin ) in 160d0wq after code in my car the cluster shows red dot but when i hold the day kilometer button and go in the secret menu there shows my vin in cluster...... and everythink is ok brake display oil service display.... but the car controll shows -45,000km and date 02/15 (its the date from cluster maybe this information is help |
