I was about to finish the update to the current update when I got the blue screen again.
For some reason, this app doesn't like Virtual box or HP laptop.
Any suggestions here?

I have it running perfect on my desktop.
Thanks.

Hi, Could anyone tell me the correct procedure for updating Etka 7.5 with all the patches before doing the update to Etka 8. Do you run each *.exe file first then open up Etka and click on update button ?

RE: ETKA 8 [Germany + International] v2017 + Latest Updates - VW/Seat/Skoda/Audi
Is there any known solution to this NSHE.sys BSOD?

It happens randomly when starting or using ETKA, and its a bit inconvenient but i can live with it.

However if it happens during an update, the whole thing ends up completely broken. I've just gone from ETKA 8.0 with update 1194, and had to reinstall from scratch because it bluescreened during the installation of the 1195 update...

I'm running it on a Windows 7 32bit VM, inside a Virtualbox session. Host PC is a Windows 10 64bit machine.

No. Keep a copy of the etka folder before update.

Don't try to abbreviate or you can start from scratch !

Great job!!
Works perfectly and had absolutely no trouble installing it..
Although, I had some problems while updating, but I started all over and used one of the many data-update .EXEs and then everything was fine.
Thinking that I might have screwed up at some point... giggle
