ICOM NEXT released
In Ireland the NEXT A is €470 plus VAT.
I'm ordering one on Friday. UPDATE: I ordered @€470 +VAT - should have delivery Tuesday A friend ordered @€459 +VAT This is just for the 'A' part and the 16pin OBD plug. I priced it in U.K. also and it is stg£348.71 +VAT There is no problem with availability- plenty in stock in U.K. depot. At this price it means that clones are finished. Buy quality !! |

RE: ICOM NEXT released
I'm investigating having a company make a foam insert for a custom case to hold the ICOM NEXT A, B & C, plus associated cables. The case is a zippered clam shell style to keep weight low.
The yellow cutout is for NEXT A (two areas allow fingers to pull the unit out), green cutout for NEXT B (one area to pull the unit out) and red open area for miscellaneous items. The other half of the case would be for NEXT C and other cables. The foam is open cell at 1.5" thick. Any suggestions or comments? ... if the price is too high for a short run, I may end up just using pick-n-pluck foam (which will work, just not look as nice) |
