Is there a minimum screen resolution for etka 8?

I have this installed on a mini-laptop as well but the max screen resolution of that device is only 1024x600.
Etka 7.5 worked fine but after upgrade to etka 8, the program will not start anymore.

I see the program start in task manager.
Sometimes a MFC error message appear but most of the times the program just disappears from task manager without anything happening.

Same problem for me.

i install the 7.5 no pb
so i have 7.5 plus and 1154 update installed
when i clic on the 1155 update it launch etka but nothing happend
and i stay in 1154
does anybody have the same probleme as me ?

You put update in ETKA\DATA\VW\Update folder then start ETKA?

Do same for each brand AU-VW-SE-SK in ETKA\DATA\XX\Update folders one at a time in each folder then start ETKA.

Put one update per brand each time, open ETKA.

Click yes to update.

Takes time for 4 brands to update. When all 4 finished will tell you which brands update successfully.

Put in next numbers after updates install successfully.


Do not click on update exe file.

Anyone has a Solution for this? Etka 7.5 by Carfreak (1185 Update) on Win7 32bit VMware no Problem. After Upgrade from Post #1 1186 Etka 8 no Start with this Failure. .Net 2 and 4 are installed!
