I have an issue...

All FSCs are accecpted, but when i load the 20 digit FSC in Idrive, the update begins and after restar of CIC, the Navigation is greyed out again ...

Doas anyone know why, or solve the issue?

Try the update again, could be corrupt map data or something.
U using emulator or this patch method?

Today i tried swtptachv2 :
first tried i formated my usb stick with fat32 and copied insıde copie_scr file and insert glowe box usb nothinks happent and tried format and copied than scren gone and reboot cic after i connected e-sys and followed instruction checked fsc (attacehed photo)and coding page read fa and svt from car than go to expert mode and choosied FSC-EXTEND, done WriteDataByIdentifierVin pressed right arrow button i writed my long vin 17 digits than pressed start but have error 'please enter a diagnostic address and a Base Variant first (G098) '(attached photo).

what is the problem after i tried many time patch again but nothing happands.

U need to set diagnostic Adress "0x63" and press "Identify" then try it again.

Hello fellow members, just reading this thread (not finished yet) could somebody give some help or point in right direction.
I have retrofitted CIC system in my E82 2009 about 4 years ago, I am using an 'emulator' to get the navigation working.
The system is working fine, however by using the this CIC patcher would this allow me to remove the emulator?
If so, do I remove the 'emulator' before applying this fix?
Furthermore, what advantage would I gain by this?.. other than be able to update the maps.
Finally, I have not updated VO to include the retrofit..was not sure whether it is required.

Finally, I have not updated VO to include the retrofit..was not sure whether it is required. -> VO update is required. but since you have navi is working i believe VO 609 is already added. So no VO Modification will be required, Voice Control 620. If you have a combox you can add 6NR for apps And if you have Satellite Radio you can add 655.

It will work with factory cic too, Provided you will have to generate all fsc 609,620,6NR
Cannot use original fsc with patched ones..

I have not checked that yet..I retrofitted this about 4 years ago and no updates were done.
I need to read bit more to find 'how to' do this, but if you can put some pointers towards the procedure that would be welcomed. Cheers
