MPPS v13 no success non of this programmers has this listed ,
they can read ECM ID thats it nothing ales

try read it with old VAG-Comander and galletto cable thru K-line..If not sucess than read by external programer..here is small softwere which work by most k-can

hi, it is possible in 1999 the ecu to be equipped with Eprom not Flash, so this is the reason you can read just the ID.

You can always do boot mode for amf29f400BB. Ground to pin 24 of 29f400bb for 5 seconds as you are powering up.

Galletto1260 has it listed under Audi Boot mode.

It will be very wise for a backup too.

Some of the older pre-me7 ecu can write only with mpps. Use mpps m5x protocol which will also write the m3x as well. But first you will need to find the ori file as there is no read option on these ecu with mpps, write is ok.

Two ecu types are listed for Jetta V6; ME7.1.1 and M5.92 see pic
