XZBMW  6WB retrofit - strange issues with FCW and Pedestrian
Hello

I did 6Wb retrofit to my F25 LCI 2016. Everything went smooth but it seems that still i missed something.

what I did:
1. replace physically 6WA cluster with 6WB
2. load a custom FA for F10 with 6WB VO.
3. VO code the cluster.
4. delete all errors/warnings with ISTA.

But still have errors when i start the car related to pedestrian and front collision warning.
I tried VO code kafas and ICM with FA F10 and with my original FA but no results.

What did I wrong?

One more thing, is there any way to retrieve my service interval instead of resetting the actual one from 6WB?

any advice is welcomed.

thanks

You need to upgrade ICM

RE: 6WB retrofit - strange issues with FCW and Pedestrian
I thought as a first step to try to flash to the latest istep but i need to search its shipment istep.

I saw few topics with people retrofitting 6wb into their f25 without changing anything instead of cluster itself.
One topic is just here post #10 LINK

According to this scheme, it has just PT-CAN signal to ZGM - https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f10-5...l/GPikXYHn

If i code the it with f15 FA, i do not have image to HUD and it seems ok, no errors..

leave as F15 FA & FDL Code the HUD Settings, to find them, read coding data from both codings & compare with NCDTool to find the changes

RE: 6WB retrofit - strange issues with FCW and Pedestrian
unfortunately i do not have activation code for ncdtool. i asked 3 times in the last year this code to TM but no response yet.

if somebody can help me with the toold or with a comparison between ncd from 6WA and retrofitted one 6WB.

No activation needed for ncdcafd tool from TM.
Why do you think you need license?
License or activation only for launcher is needed and has nothing to do with ncdcafd tool

RE: 6WB retrofit - strange issues with FCW and Pedestrian
you are right. i got confused with another TM app.
Downloaded latest one 0.5.2 and it is working.
There are some new coding options which are not available on 6WA cafd.
i will test my patience by comparing them and try different values.

meanwhile, if somebody has a working ncd for a 6WB retrofitted into F25, i will really appreciate the sharing of it.

[Solved] 6WB retrofit - strange issues with FCW and Pedestrian
finally, i've managed to make it work.
The issue(and the secret) is in the FA file. you must find the right FA combination.
otherwise, you will get different errors like FCW/Pedestrian or SOS call failure.

I've attached the FA xml for those who want to retrofit 6WB in an F25.
I hope to help someone in the future.
I did a TAL calculation for SW update and i got below actions. As HW are all black, i assume it is safe to proceed further.
What do you think?

For no reason behind, HU is asking me the USB with the MAP activation even I have free update till 31.12.2019.
I did a reprovision of services but nothing.

LE: i've succesfully flashed to the last istep with above TAL.

So i  may conclude that the retrofit is complete.

If somebody would need more info, please drop a reply here or pm.

Thanks to everyone who replied here or in PM.
