Today I have successfully connected to my MY 2011 R172, with Vediamo and VAS5054A with OKI chip, on Windows 10 x64.
I have also managed to flash some control units using this method.

The following steps have been taken to enable PassThru in Vediamo:

- Look for the file "c:\program files (x86)\vediamo\caesar\drivers\slave.ini"
- Open it in notepad, and search for the following part: "PartJ configuration"
- Below this line, you will see a parameter "DeviceName"
- Set the value of this parameter to "Softing - VAS5054A#082145725"
- Chinese clones of VAS will share the same serial number (082145725). If yours is different, make sure to set the correct serial number.
- Open Vediamo Start Center
- In the Vediamo Server - CAESAR - click on Update, a menu will show up.
- Make sure "Part J" is checked, then click Update to close the menu
- Now, when you connect your PC with VAS, the Vediamo Server part will show a connected device, and this is how you know you configured everything correctly.

In order to be able to connect to the control unit, using the descriptor files, you must use connection type UDS_500.
In order to set this, you must go to ECU properties, where you will see that the connection, by default, is LSCAN_UDS_125.
Go ahead, and change it to HSCAN_UDF_500, otherwise, when connecting to the control unit, you will get either a Timeout error, or an Unknown error.

While we are discussing 4.02.02 and Part J, I am curious if anyone else has attempted running the same configuration with 4.02.02 with a PassThru device on Windows 11 Enterprise?

Thus far, I have had no success. Vediamo will not discover the Part J device. I am starting to believe it is a Windows 11 -specific issue as Windows 10 Enterprise 21H2 works fine with it.

What i do.
A:

1. install vediamo
2. copy crack file to vediamo install folder (2/3 file )
3. use keygen
4. do everything that is written in the installation tutorial (makes life easier)

now vediamo works

B:
1. passtrue what soft you use i use kts 540 install ( bosch home page kts passtrue driver  ) or use vas5054a
2. use regedit
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\PassThruSupport.04.04
now you see your passtrue  ( Softing - VAS5054A#082145725 ) (click  rename and copy all )

3. now open  C: program file x86 /vediamo/ caesar / driver
4. use notebook and open slave.ini
5 find part line j  
devicename   (and  set your passtrue) Softing - VAS5054A#082145725
