Hi,

What aboute checksum after change only short VIN. Do I really need to change that short VIN?
I have file where ISN, long VIN and checksum was changed.
Whan I write something like that it will work? short VIN is only AIF/UIF info or something like that?

I do not know how in Yours ECU but when I was doing some other modules the chk for the long vin was just a sum in HEX (do it on windows calculator) and just place last bit of it just at the end of the long vin (this way was good for CAS anyway).

Hi,

After simply plug in CAS and DDE car start no problem but gears can't be change (stay in P).
There are 2 errors in DDE:
- encoding missing
- internal fault

When I try to inject CAFD I get error:

Service RDBI_PLAIN returned a negative response with response code conditionsNotCorrect; LinkName: DME_12_ETHERNET

And after that, car crank but no start.

Is there any chance that flashing DDE will help? Or wrong control unit installed?

Doesn't this ECU require system time reset to be reused?
