Information about eXtratool utiluty, because old thread was deleted (forum crash) and some update of eXtratool was made. Basic information about eXtratool you can find in pdf. If you using eXtratool you can:
1) read/delete error memory/shadow error memory
2) disable/enable Valvetronic/EGR/Xdrive
3) Read EGS adaptation/temperature history logs/launch counter
4) KL15 simulator / CAN bridge mode
6) fast battery change registartion 
... and other usefull functions
If you have any ideas about how to make utility more usefull for your needs, please write to author (contact information in pdf)
