I am considering to buy BimmerUtility in order to code my car after it went to dealer for mandatory update (Update from L to Y). As my notebook will probably getting replaced next year, I read that in the course of the great support from BU it's maybe possible to transfer the license at the time I replace the notebook, right?
I also wanted to know if there are any tutorials coming with the purchase? Especially on FDL-coding and prior backuping.

As I´ve seen EsysNext is also available? Did someone test? I own a dongle (EsysX)...
now I am thinkg over what to do, EsysUltra or EsysNext.

For me + on EsysUltra: intergrated in Esys and offline working possible

+ EsysNext: always up to date (cloud) but also negative that u always need internet...

We have tutorials on our Youtube Channel and Website and in BU .

When using FDL editing, can the search bar be set to press enter to search instead of entering characters, because when I enter an incomplete code, BU will flash back

I also still have the EsysX dongle , i looked at the new Esys Next online and this is not the option for me.. I find it to complicated now ,with the old EsysX dongle the program was integrated in in Esys and that i find very handy. Thats why i renewed my Launcher Pro now that Eli is back online. I now have the Launcher Pro 5.07 and just before Eli renewed his Launcher Pro i bought BimmerUtility. But stil if prefer the Launcher Pro because it is integrated in Esys and not a separet program.

I have also EsysX dongle, and yesterday I activated a account for EsysNext (Cloud based) and because of owning a EsysX license I am allowed to to test EsysNext for 4 weeks.

But since yesterday evening I am not able to run EsysX any more. "Ispihost" doesn´t start on my Laptop...I tried to re install as I had this issue 2 or 3 times in the past, but didn´t help. Any ideas?

Back to topic:
I would also prefer a offline version which is integrated in Esys, that is why I am thing about Esys Ultra.... but it seems that no one is using it.

Tokenmasters soultion is not an option, just can´t count on him for support or even answering any email...

I don´t belive that they deactivated it but I´ll try on my old laptop which was since months not in use and not online, should work then.
I´ll also compare the windows versions....

If I want to start ispinext.exe via CMD I get an error "..failed tu run w/err 0x00000427"
