I got the same problem with F11 and cloned icom. Initially ista/p reads out the sw status from the VCM, but when it is switching mode? to communicate with the actual modules, then ICOM cant find them and therefore ista says that all modules needs to be changed... Maybe a problem is related to adjustments of the program to be able to handle icom emulator??

unlikely the emulator files are causing the problem. but try it without applying the mod files from post 1 (add your own icom a2 files if needed).

I tried all things i could think of, but ISTA/P just doesnt work with ICOM and a F11 with 2012 SW.... BUT insted i got the 2.52.4 that is avalable in another thread, and that one works perfect!!

The program works with me with ICOM very new vehicles Perfect (X6, E9x LCI etc). In older models (E53, E83) but always get an error message that I have not turned on the ignition. Does anybody have a similar problem?

I have it installed on VMware 10 and using a Chinese clone ICOM A. It works just fine on both my 2010 E60 and 2011 E90. The only thing that would make it perfect would be the WSM password to let me change the time zone so that the final reports have the right time on them.
