SKODA Octavia NX (MK4) Blind Spot Detection Retrofit
I am thinking of retrofitting Lane Change Assist to my Octavia MY2023.
So far i am gathering information about this project. I have some questions, if anyone can answer i would appreciate it. 1. The control units must be 2Q0907685E or G. Those units are not cheap. I found at Alixpress units with code starting from 2QD at deccent price. I wondering if i can buy them and flash with the 2Q0 software ? Is this posiible ? 2. Then i have to flash them with the correct parametres. Where i could find them ? 3. Do i need an online connection to (GEKO) to program the units ? I have ODBeleven with PRO VAG Plan, so i can вурдs the SFD lock. I have also a Chinese 5054A cable with ODIS E and S. Thank you in advance for your answers. You can flash it from 2QD to 2Q0, but the hardware ID will remain unchanged after flashing.
It's also necessary to remove the component protection using ODIS-S online. Maybe someone has the correct dataset. I only have the dataset for the Golf 8 here. |

OK, thanks for your answers.
I started gathering stuff. Radars, brackets, wiring and so on. Now i am searching for the changes i have to make apart from CP removal and dataset - parameters upload to the radars. For example, code or adaptation on the dashboard, on the infotainment, ABS unit and ans so on. I would appreciate any help. If you think this post helped you please press

Why do the control units have to be E or G? Of course index E and G are newer and better but D should work just as well.

Fair enough.
The ETKA for my car (MY2023) gives codes in E and G. Of course, one can get a radar with a code ending in D, and upgrade its software. Can be done. If you think this post helped you please press

The question is, for which index is the data set available, or maybe you can find used ones with index D. I don't see any reason to do an update unless there is a TPI or 5ёяvїcё measure/recall
