Hi CT members. I have a little trouble with this FEM and BMW F36. I replaced the original one with a used one, car started but the wireless coil antenna not working and I have lots of coding issues. I try to flash FEM and coding with lдциcн, all successful but still the same errors. With ё5у5 tested and no luck also. Anyone could take a look for try to fїж?
Really appreciate it. (No prob for payment) Regards |

RE: Bmw F36 FEM coding error and issues
Maybe you would like to use NEWER PSdZ data than from 2018? Given you want to use FEM which was already upgraded to 2020+... (have no idea about lдциcн, but seeing you still use 2018 PSdZ data you probably use lдциcн of similar vintage...)

(18-02-2026, 10:38 AM)bm92 Wrote: There is CA FEM and non CA FEM, LCI and pre LCI Thanks . This issue appear after transfer isn to FEM and backup coding with vvdi2 tool, something occur, the software report a coding error and after that, loosen few functions on FEM coding. Both FEM are the same HW and reference. Still no solution or definitely need to be replaced to other fem ? ![]() Regards |

RE: Bmw F36 FEM coding error and issues
If there would be mix up between LCI/CA then HWEL/HWAP mismatch would be detected by ё5у5. So unless magic button was pressed it should be ok, unless again wrong firmware was overwritten into incompatible unit by using VVDI.
That info was NOT provided so I can go only by what I see (as no PHOTOS of unit itself (or at least рдят number of it) were provided to check). And in the screenshots attached I see that TAL calculation calculated OLDER SWFL/CAFD than currently in the unit. That can only happen if ancient PSdZ data is used. And in that case PSdZ does NOT CONTAIN the CAFD you need. So unless you explain ALL the details WHAT you are using, what EXACTLY was done, HOW and WHY, we REALLY can't help you. RE: Bmw F36 FEM coding error and issues
Hi. Really appreciate the assist from the users.
The history is about this is: Ori eeprom damaged missing one leg and path on the pcb. Replaced by used one, reset mileage, programming with VVDI2 and the FEM/BDC Replacement wizard, all ok unitl the last step that vvdi2 restore the coding, just here coding backup failed. Car start, no prob for drive but lots of dtcs on FEM related with coding. Try to fїж with lдциcн PAD5, programming and coding done, same issue. With ё5у5 the errors attached. And now im stuck on this step trying to fїж ![]() Pictures attached of ori and donor fem's. Left original, Right Donor Regards |

RE: Bmw F36 FEM coding error and issues
Did you checked FA,SVT and IStep shipment in VCM? Did you check flexray port with tool32? Like Node said to code this car you need newer Р5dZDата lite is enough for coding.

RE: Bmw F36 FEM coding error and issues
Finally, i sorted out this car with a little nightmare. If someone have a same issue, related with the keys.
I renew with vvdi key mini a used OEM key. After that the key lost the function as SmartKey. I programmed a new one and work perfect. Really thanks to all the people that support me. Regards |
